Products - Managing Your Site with CMS
Using Open Source Content Management System (CMS) Solutions
Using a Content Management System (CMS) is one the best ways to start with a website as all the formatting and infrastructure are already setup for you. You need no extra expensive web building tools and you need no specific in depth knowledge of the common web building HTML language.
With a Content management System (CMS) you pretty much just type in your content and away you go. There is however, a learning curve to climb if you have never used a CMS before. You have to know how to administer your website in order to manage its content effectively.
I offer two hours of FREE training as part of the CMS web site packages. Addtional hours can also be booked.
Web development is a broad term for any activities related to developing a web site for the Web or an intranet. This can include e-commerce business development, web design, web content development, client-side/server-side coding, and web server configuration. However, among web professionals, "web development" usually refers only to the non-design aspects of building web sites, e.g. writing markup and coding. Web development can range from developing the simplest static single page of plain text to the most complex web-based internet applications, electronic businesses, or social network services.
